1st place: Kevin Albrecht, CEO, and co-founder at Swedish Fintech P.F.C. interviewed by Everly.eu

“Our approach is a bit different from some other neobanks. We don‘t want to expand just for the sake of expanding. We want to get deeper into our markets and help our customers with their daily financial use cases.”

2nd place: Bunq has been added to the Dutch Fair Finance Guide

Ali Niknam, CEO and founder of bunq, says: “I’m incredibly proud that we’re the highest new entry to be included! And thanks to many new ideas and insights provided by the Dutch Fair Finance Guide, I’m sure we’ll do even better next year!”

3rd place: TranferWise is waiving fees on $20,000,000 in donations to COVID-19 research

The company pointed out that most banks and payment providers don’t exchange your money using the mid-market rate and that they alter the rate in a way that is favorable to them, and pocket the extra money.

4th place: Starling Bank integrated PayStream for business customers

The PayStream service connects Starling’s business customers with experts on IR35, the tax legislation that helps determine if a limited company contractor is an independent business or if they’re essentially an employee working for a client without being on the payroll.

Dodson joins N26 with many years of experience as a technologist, both as an engineer and as a leader of software teams.
