The cross-border payments unicorn TransferWise announced a partnership with charities and organisations who are seeking to find and distribute, a vaccine for COVID-19. Starling Bank integrated online accounting software PayStream for its business customers and Thomas Dodson joins N26 as Head of Engineering in the US.

3rd place: TranferWise is waiving fees on $20,000,000 in donations to COVID-19 research
The company pointed out that most banks and payment providers don’t exchange your money using the mid-market rate and that they alter the rate in a way that is favorable to them, and pocket the extra money.
4th place: Starling Bank integrated PayStream for business customers
The PayStream service connects Starling’s business customers with experts on IR35, the tax legislation that helps determine if a limited company contractor is an independent business or if they’re essentially an employee working for a client without being on the payroll.
5th place: Thomas Dodson joins N26 as Head of Engineering in the US
Dodson joins N26 with many years of experience as a technologist, both as an engineer and as a leader of software teams.
